  1. Back in December last year, Simon and I went to Paris to celebrate his turning 30. We spent a few days in the beautiful city, seeing the sights, shopping and enjoying the delicious quisine. Here are just a few photographs that I took on my Pentax. I know it's four months late to be uploading these photos, but if I don't share them on my blog, I will never share them!

We had cocktails that came with sparklers! They were beautiful and delicious.

Some lovely graffiti round behind Le Centre Pompidou.

I have quite specifically altered this photograph to highlight certain aspects of the image and to make it more whimsical and less real to life. Everything in the photograph is real, nothing is added as such, but I specifically did not focus. The neon, rainbow Churros sign is what drew my attention to the scene. The photo has then been edited in lightroom, I have adjusted the clarity and exposure.

    The Eiffel Tower.

    Notre Dame.

    Inside Notre Dame. Simon photographing.

By not focussing the camera, I was able to photograph the lit signs inside Le Centre Pompidou to look like this. They almost look superimposed, but they were there.

My next blog post should be arriving in the next few days - Berlin!

  2. So, I've not posted for ages because I have been cutting back on the amount of time I'm spending on Feelmorelove Boutique. This is due to career development in my teaching job. Feelmorelove is on the back burner but certainly not forgotten about!

I've been busy with work, but also undertaking a teaching course, the Level 3 Award in Education and Training. Today was micro teach day. A micro teach is a 30 minute lesson on a subject of your choice. Each learner on the course had to deliver a microteach to a small group and it is assessed as part of your final course result. I did my micro teach on polymer clay canework, and it was a real success. The learners clearly enjoyed it and produced some excellent outcomes in a very short time. My feedback was brilliant and my course tutor tweeted this at the end:

Once again - a WIN for polyclay!
