So, I've not posted for ages because I have been cutting back on the amount of time I'm spending on Feelmorelove Boutique. This is due to career development in my teaching job. Feelmorelove is on the back burner but certainly not forgotten about!
I've been busy with work, but also undertaking a teaching course, the Level 3 Award in Education and Training. Today was micro teach day. A micro teach is a 30 minute lesson on a subject of your choice. Each learner on the course had to deliver a microteach to a small group and it is assessed as part of your final course result. I did my micro teach on polymer clay canework, and it was a real success. The learners clearly enjoyed it and produced some excellent outcomes in a very short time. My feedback was brilliant and my course tutor tweeted this at the end:
Over the summer I spent two weeks on the beautiful islands of Malta and Gozo with my lovely boyfriend. It was a fab holiday, quite possibly one of the best, if not the best holiday, ever! Now that the summer holiday is over and colder weather is on the way I am knuckling down to some Christmas planning for fairs and festivities and trying to add more to my Etsy shop in preparation for the lead up to the next big holiday - Christmas!
So, in memory of my wonderful summer, I thought I would share some photos from our trip.
The Rotunda at Mosta, Malta - That's me in the middle, on the steps, with Batman and Robin either side of me, who had rocked up to the church in Del Boy's Reliant Robin!
That was not what we had expected to see, but good none the less.
Naturally, Simon and I had to have photographs!
A lovely tub of cacti growing atop another church in Xewkija, Gozo.
View from the church in Xewkija.
Lovely kitty cat outside the church.
This is Simon jumping off a cliff into the sea on the island of Comino.
Sunset sillhouettes on Gozo.
Sunset at the Azure Window, Gozo.
Dusk in a carpark...This was just outside Malta Fairs and Convention Centre where we went to see The Prodigy!
The Prodigy gig - AMAZING!
Me on some really cool steps outside a vineyard on the way to Ramla Bay.
There was a big trench at the bottom of the steps, so I had to climb up into the vineyard to get onto them for Simon to take this pic!
Handstand on Lovelock Bridge, Malta - Why was the word love upside down? I don't know!
The bell tower of the church in Xewkija, Gozo.
Finally, Simon and I being posers at The Prodigy gig!
And that's the lot for now. In my next post I hope to be reviewing a pack of the new Fimo Professional Clay via a video blog....But you will have to wait and see for that one!
